The next meeting of the West Valley Amateur Radio Association is on
Wednesday evening, August 20 at 7:00 p.m.
Tom Carney, K6EU will be
our speaker. The topic is "VHF Contesting" and
includes a rover vehicle setup/demonstration.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING SUMMER MEETING TIMES:
The May 21 WVARA meeting will be at 7:30pm as usual. The three meetings
after that, June, July and August are scheduled for 7pm, a half hour
earlier.
This change is being tested during the summer months to coordinate better
with our gracious hosts the Red
Cross (and let us all get to bed a little earlier). During and after
the July meeting the decision will be made whether to make this experiment
permanent. Please give any feedback you have on this decision to (any
of or all of) the officers and the board of directors.
